Our Story
Avenue is a dynamic trio of seasoned vocalists, writers, and musicians – Kasey Kemp, Haley Kemp, and Jonathan Smith – who have quickly garnered recognition in the Christian music community for their exceptional harmonies and powerful messages of encouragement and hope.
The name "Avenue" reflects the group's mission: to utilize their music as a pathway for proclaiming the greatest message – the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Their debut project, Songs For Every Mile, released in June 2018, showcases their robust sound, strong vocals, and inspiring messages. The album's first radio release, "One Of These Mornings," climbed to #23 on the national Singing News chart. Avenue has since continued their success with radio chart-toppers such as “Can’t Keep a Good Man Down,” “Here We Are,” “Walking on With Jesus,” “They Could Not,” “I Will Follow Christ,” and “New Name Written Down in Glory.”
Avenue's inspiring music continues to gain traction on all streaming services with their latest releases, “Talking To Jesus,” written by group members Kasey and Haley Kemp, making its way to Amazon Music playlists such as “Fresh Christian” and “Feel-Good Christian.” “We Believe” was featured on Apple Music playlists “New In Christian” and “Today’s Christian.” Apple Music has also featured their song, “Together For Christmas,” written by group members Haley Kemp and Jonathan Smith, on their “New Christian Christmas” playlist.

Kasey Kemp
A native of Marion, Illinois, experienced a transformative moment in his life when he was born again at the age of seven. Together with his wife Haley, he is a proud parent to their daughter Avaline and son Autry. An accomplished trumpet player and ordained minister, Kasey has dedicated the last 20 years to full-time involvement in gospel music.
Haley Kemp
Hails from Terre Haute, Indiana, and now resides just outside Nashville, Tennessee. As the wife of Kasey and mother to Avaline and Autry, Haley uses her soulful singing and songwriting talents to glorify Christ. Her unique vocal style and anointed performances make her an invaluable member of Avenue.
Jonathan Smith
Jonathan Smith is from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He grew up as a “PK” and now serves as Music Director at the same church his dad pastors in Windber, Pennsylvania. He is a songwriter for Daywind Music Group and has written with many of the prolific writers in Christian music. Jonathan has a heart for teaching and raising up worship leaders, and is equally passionate about writing and singing songs that stir people to praise and comfort the broken hearted.
